As I look back at my songwriting journey and see its evolution and growth, I experiment with different genres, adding the "Bryan-ness" into the genre. As a result, I have written songs of the rock, hip-hop/rap, and pop genre. I also did some "Jason Deluro" song genres and now, I attempt a pop/ballad. But one problem I always had was the recording quality. The music quality recorded on Garageband is good but once the vocal is added, the quality drops. That's why I have recently been looking towards making a higher quality vocal recording at a studio and release them as digital downloads or in cd form but it to make my money worth, I need a couple more songs to fill the slots.

Incandescence
[This song is not available for download until I receive enough reviews to be confident to put up for download. Until then, it is only available for streaming. Do give you comments on the song and once there is enough and the editing has been done, I'll put it up for download.]
This song is inspired by the recent movie: "Real Steel". I recently watched this movie when I was in KL with some of my BCM family and this show was OVERWHELMING! (Note: for those of you who have not watch it yet, here is a STRONG RECOMMENDATION to go catch it as soon as you can! You will not regret...) The show could really bring out the emotions.

On This Day
[Sorry.. I just realized that my pitch was all over the place so I have removed the song to be rerecorded and will be up after its done.. Sorry]
I remember the time I wrote "Will You" dedicated to this person and that person asked me to write another. Now, inspiration is not easy to come by (and time is another major factor) but today, seeing that it is her special day, she requested a song as her gift. So I sat down at noon today and started composing.

[Cover] Next To You
Nothing much to say about this song other than that it was a special request to do a cover of it, that it is beautifully written and the music is beautifully composed. A great love song in my opinion. One thing I do have to apologize though. For some reason, the song keeps peaking. In GarageBand's playback, there is no peak but smooth and high quality sound (apart for vocals as I use the built-in mic). But after exporting, the sound quality becomes lousy. I tried editing over and over for about an hour yet to no avail. In any case, I hope you enjoy...

I Love You So
I just composed this song today. I has truly been a long long time since I composed a song. Have been doing covers recently due to the sudden release of excellent songs. Anyway, I decided to write a song. I picked up my guitar, started playing and typing words into my laptop. First attempt was a disappointment. I scraped the whole thing and decided to rewrite the lyrics and even the music. Songs and music just filled my mind. One of the first was one of my favourite song by Olivia Inspi' Reira entitled, "A little pain". That's how the intro sounded so similar to that song (but not an exact copy)

[Cover] Itu Kamu
When this song by Estranged hit the radios and TVs, I loved the song. I loved the melody, the music, the MV, and the lyrics. It was a beautiful love song. In fact, I started singing it over and over (especially the chorus). Recently,

[Cover] Just The Way You Are
When this song was first released, I was attracted to Bruno Mars' voice as well as his style. More than that, I was attracted to the lyrics of the song. Appreciating a lady as who she is, without masks or pretense, just the way she is.
