This song is inspired by the recent movie: "Real Steel". I recently watched this movie when I was in KL with some of my BCM family and this show was OVERWHELMING! (Note: for those of you who have not watch it yet, here is a STRONG RECOMMENDATION to go catch it as soon as you can! You will not regret...) The show could really bring out the emotions.

So I had some free time today and quiet environment and decided to write a song. Once again, the emotions and scenes of Real Steel just came back to me. I am trying not to write a spoiler here but I decided to write a song based on that movie. This song was written in the perspective of Atom. Many years has passed after the "Real Steel" incident and so Atom was just reminiscing the past, how he started and the whole journey with his human companions. That is the basis of this song. Inspired by the movie, I tried to make this song evoke emotions, stay true to the movie and hopefully, we will be like Atom, don't look down on ourselves but know that deep inside us, with perseverance, we can make it. Like for instance the rift between you and Charlie, that was a wall to climb

When Charlie came apologizing to you, boy, that was swell
When you hugged Charlie, you held your tears, I could tell
If only I wasn’t a bot, my tears would definitely have fallen as well

The way Zeus was pummeling me, every punch, man, it was a sting
But in the end, I was the victor when the bell went “ting”
